The world’s two richest men want to go beyond earth so badly.
Tesla’s Elon Musk and Amazon’s Jeff Bezos have more than $375 billion in combined wealth and lead the most renowned companies of the world. Apart from innovation on earth they have been focusing on bringing human habitats to multiple planets.
Musk has made his company SpaceX an ever bigger player in private space technology. In a mission called Inspiration 4, the company announced that it will send exclusive “civilian” crew into orbit at the end of the year. SpaceX has already sent NASA astronauts to the International Space Station(ISS) and its intention is to carry more, as well as private astronauts.

Ambitious Musk has said that SpaceX will land humans on Mars by 2026. To achieve that, the company is going to use a budget of $3.5 billion approximately.
Bezos, who is quitting as chief executive of Amazon this year, is planning to speed up his space travel efforts through his company Blue Origin, whose logo says “Earth, in all its beauty, is just our starting place.” The company is currently working on payload launches, reusable orbital launch vehicles and moon landing technology as well. He recently said that his company is close to get off into space with humans. In 2019, in his most remarkable idea, is vision of space colonies for future generations to move towards incredible advanced civilization. It will relieve the stress on Earth and make it more livable.
Sometimes the life on earth seems so unpredictable, at least Musk and Bezos want to find ways to get it off to some extent. It is important to understand that these two men are just two voices among billions of earth inhabitants. It is a responsibility on the rest of us to take more control of how we are going to move into the new worlds beyond our planet. When it comes to critical technology, we have handed over our destiny in the hands of few people. As we take tentative steps towards leaving earth, it feels that we are continuing to place too much of our trust under the control of technology titans.
We invented ARPANET, then internet and tech moguls own it. And when it comes to space travel, again it looks as if the moguls could own that too because they deserve it.
This message of the advanced civilization is not only meant for Musk and Bezos, but actually meant for all of us.
